Food & Drinks

The Fiesta Alameda food court will offer a range of Latin fare such as empanadas, tortas, pupusas, tacos, churros, and more.

What's a festival without a great bar? We've got delicious wines, spirits, and craft brews. Featured brands include Altos 100% Agave Tequila, Building 43 Winery, Del Cielo Brewing Co., Drake’s Brewing Co., and other tasty beverages.

Artisan Vendors

Explore dozens of local artisan vendors, including Beast Oakland, Malaya Botanicals, Lemonade510, Sumba Art, Ressurrection Products, Casa of Arts, Kidtzia’s Soapy Skin, Ness Ness Va’s Art, and many more!

USS Hornet Jet Cockpit

While enjoying the festival, explore an F8 Crusader, a navy Fighter from the 1950s and 1960s. This type of aircraft was the first supersonic carrier-based aircraft. The controls in the cockpit are original and you can sit inside just like the pilot! We even have a pilot's helmet you can wear for great pictures!

In addition, the Hornet crew will be on hand to tell you about the USS Hornet Museum -including its history, exhibits, aircraft, Apollo program artifacts, education programs, and volunteer opportunities.

Family Crafting Zone

12:00 - 4:30PM

Sponsored by BrightLife Kids: A CalHOPE Program by Brightline, kids of all ages can get crafty while learning more about Latin culture, geography, and more. Crafts are hosted by our friends at Rhythmix Cultural Works. Join them to make your own Alebrijes (Mexican Spirit Animals); Frida Kahlo-inspired flower crowns; Take & Shake Maracas; and more! Plus, coloring pages are available and facepainting by Renae!
